Insurance Customer Services Advisor - Bournemouth
17,500-19,500 basic plus performance-related bonus

Our client, a major high street bank, is looking for Customer Services Advisors to answer customer calls with a view to selling buildings & contents home insurance and maximise cross-selling opportunities.

Youll be a high performing, results-focused individual who excels at communicating and relationship building. You'll love to talk and will use positive and persuasive conversation over the telephone to build relationships with your customers, while achieving individual and business targets. Providing first class customer service, youll aim to meet all the customers needs, either making the sale or retaining business with our client.

Previous experience in insurance is a plus, but its not essential, as you'll receive all the training you need to reach your full potential.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

* Answer inbound calls and proceed with a quotation for buildings, contents and home emergency cover
* Thorough knowledge and understanding of products, underwriting principles, relevant procedures and processes, based largely around the sales cycle
* Follow a call structure, using scripts where necessary, identifying customers needs and designing a relevant policy
* Use sales skills and techniques to bring the call to a successful conclusion, ideally resulting in a sale at first contact
* Demonstrate resilience when closing the sale, handling objections as required
* Deliver pre-defined business targets based on current level within the Reward and Remuneration measure
* Achieve both FSA compliance targets and Sigma quality goals, based around data accuracy on first contact
* Pass quarterly product knowledge and compliance based tests

Please note: The successful candidate would be working a variety of 40 hours per week shifts on a rota basis (5 days out of 6) to support our client's opening hours of Monday to Friday 8am - 8pm and Saturday 8am - 4pm. You will be expected to work the majority of Saturdays.
